DISTRIBUTION

Distribution Strategy is three-fold with high, middle and low potential outcomes

Major Acquisition

In the ideal scenario, TWENTY will be picked up for either U.S. or would be rights acquisition by a studio that sees a marketing angle that is not reliant upon a bankable cast. Such a case is not unusual for films in the horror, supernatural, or indie genre. Lionsgate, Fox, Sony, Summit, Voltage, Vertical, and Gravitas are all distributors who may have an appetite for TWENTY. Should any one of these distributors be interested, they will want to acquire all rights as a distributor and agree to split overages with the producers along with a minimum guarantee (MG). $255,110 to $755,110 is a reasonable expectation for the advanced MG. Once the studios take their distributor fees, expenses and cover their advance, the film Executive Producers can expect to receive roughly 30% of the gross net revenue after the box office. TWENTY stands to benefit from the shift away from theatrical releases. The termination of the 71-year-old Paramount Consent Decrees (the law that prohibits studios from controlling the exhibition process) is proof that distribution offers TWENTY an easier opportunity to be sold. With the pandemic, there has never been a better time to create new content. Amazon and Apple have noticed this as well, and have both jumped headfirst into the content creation business. TWENTY will not only have the chance to be picked up by a major studio, but is also a great option for the multitude of streaming platforms currently available including Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

U.S. & Foreign Distribution Deal

This includes a partnership with a strong U.S. and foreign sales agent. The company will either do a world rights deal combining U.S. and foreign rights or split up world rights & foreign depending on which deal is the most advantageous. We will negotiate a theatrical deal with a studio such as Fox, Sony, or Lionsgate. Distribution possibilities even include a reach into China through Tencent Video Originals.

Internet VOD Distribution

SVOD purchases surged at least 37% over the last year to an astonishing $21.2 billion according to data released by Digital Entertainment Group, an industry trade group. It is the fastest-growing movie market as total home entertainment revenue skyrocketed up 21.4% to $30 billion through the major streaming sites such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and HBO Max. With access to the latest in groundbreaking sound and picture technology through Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, TWENTY will utilize technique and design typically reserved for tentpole budgets.  This will greatly enhance our approach and appeal to internet VOD movie sites. With the ever-increasing VOD internet profit potential of online streaming, the producers will approach platforms with a viable product.

RISK FACTORS

With a solid relationship with a strong distribution company and the use of the latest immersive sound technology, we will have an independent release with a high-profit margin, including VOD internet streaming sales. Streaming movies online is extremely cost-effective as promotion expenses are minimal. With little advertising money spent, we will focus on covering fan-based target marketing. If the audience and critical reception are strong, we can even parlay it into a later pickup from major studios.
