Donation programs like those below and others can be extremely beneficial for public awareness of ongoing relief when the country is at its most vulnerable, especially with the global advent of severe unforeseen human suffering from the coronavirus with almost 570,000 dead in the US alone; massive unemployment in the millions; hundreds dead from police brutality, racial and legal injustices; and, victims of severe flooding, wild fires and tropical storms causing the merciless loss of human life, animal death, and destruction of hundreds of thousands of homes and entire towns due to climate change. As a result of this destruction and the pandemic across the country, one in seven Americans – 46 million people – depend on food banks to feed their families. Additional tragedies stemming from unstoppable calamitous environmental disasters are the thousands of wild animal deaths, the unpreventable loss of their natural habitats, and pets orphaned and separated from their owners due to these inexorable forces of nature. 

Above are just some examples of nonprofits or charities you can choose to donate to in case you’re unsure. Please feel free to choose your already favorite nonprofit if you have one. Perhaps you have received services from a nonprofit you’re especially close to or they are located in your community or you know of one that helps specific groups of people like the homeless, veterans, vulnerable children, animals, low-income families, the disenfranchised, equal justice for people of color, a local food bank, COVID 19 – and, the list goes on – you get the picture.
